heh . ok heres my story..
my amp, an audiobahn A2300HCQ, does not work anymore!

i just bought a new cd player, a pioneer DEH-P4700MP.

i hooked the amp up to the new cd player and it was all fine and everything. Then like 4 hours later i went back out to my car and no bass from the subs...

the amp still powers up and gives me the blue status light which the book says that means the amp is "functioning properly" so it powers up and then the lil gauges on it dont do anything and i dont get any noise from the subs. I tried using different rca's, ive tried turning off all the filters adjusting the gains, i even put it in my friends car in place of his amp and it wouldnt work.. ive tried everything i can think of .. any ideas what could be wrong ?

if subs are good and fuses in side of amp are good then its gotta be the amp. have you put an ohm meter to subs?

Having been a user (and disposer)of many Audiuobahn products, I would say it's probably your amp. BUT, I would run an extension cord out and try a home audio cd player to see if you have signal, or try swapping your rca's from the sub output to a front or rear output on your head unit (bypassing all highpass filters of course) to see if you get a signal then. Otherwise you are another victim (as I was) of the Audiobahn flash and overrating appeal.

My wife will never understand why, lucky for her!
