Oh crap thats going to be a hard one since Daewoo has been out of businees for awhile, you could try and take it to a GM dealership since they bought out Daewoo and see if they can reset it

Or you can try and open the unit up and see if it has an internal battery like a BIOS battery inj a computer and just disconnect that for 10 min and see if that helps

Later

Dealer is the best place to go to remedy the code issue. No one here in the forum will give you the code. There is a good chance that the stereo could be stolen.

Thats what I suggested but there is only one problem is Daewoo no longer is in business there are no dealers in the USA at all, so the only way is to help him regardless if its stolen or not

I would suggest a dash kit and a new radio.............it would save a LOT of time.

Yes if there is no serial number not even a dealer can look up the code, you may want to just go ahead and get an aftermarket headunit and install kit
thats going to be easier

Well im sure theres a serial number on it. Its just in a friends car and i havent been able to take it out to find it. Was hoping there was some kinda default code on them. Ive found a decent size list of codes i was going to try.

Thanks:
