I JUST BOUGHT 2 KENWOOD eXelon KAC-X811D AMPS TODAY, I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING, KENWOOD AMPS SUCK.
WELL, I GOT THESE FOR A DAMN GOOD PRICE AND I HAVE GOT THE KVT-815 IN-DASH LCD/DVD AND I WANTED TO HAVE FULL CONTROL OF THE AMPS FROM THE HEAD UNIT.
ANYWAY, SO I HAVE THE 2 KENWOOD eXelon KAC-X811D AMPS AND
I WANT TO RUN THEM TO 3 DIAMOND AUDIO CM3 12 D4 SUBWOOFERS.
I AM NOT REALLY PLEASED WITH HOW THESE SOUND TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH, BUT I AM GOING TO DEAL WITH THEM UNTIL I GET A NEW TRUCK.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO GET BOTH OF THESE AMPS HOOKED UP TO THESE 3 SUBWOOFERS AND HAVE THE BEST SOUND QUAILTY. WHAT KIND OF SERIES OR PARALLEL TO RUN THE SUBS AND THEN THE ACTUAL HOOKUP TO THE AMPS.
I AM MORE INTERESTED IN SQ BECAUSE I LISTEN TO DAMN NEAR EVERY KIND OF MUSIC. THEN AGAIN SOMETIMES I JUST WANT SOME NASTY "BASE" IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! ANY HELP WOULD REALLY BE HELPFUL. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Hint one - Caps lock is for yelling is for making a point.
Hint two - 2 amps on these 3 subs = one bad idea.
Use either one amp with all the subs wired in series / parallel or buy one more sub and use one amp per two subs with the subs wired in a all paralle circuit. This is of course provided that these amps are 1 ohm mono engineered.
Sometimes a good deal is no good if the deal cannot be made to work.
