i am currently looking at getting diamond audio or boston acoustics for my scion xb not sure what models yet but any suggestions on these brands or better brands???

We can't just reccomend the best set of speakers for you. Whatever sounds best to you (and fits your budget) is what you should buy. You should bring a favorite CD of yours to some different car audio shops around town and listen to different sets of speakers.

I do own some Boston Acoustics FS60 components. I like their sound. It's very clear and the highs are just right, to me. Both Diamond and Boston are great brands, along with many others like MB Quart, JL, Eclipse, JBL, and Alpine (just to name a few) all make great speakers.

Those are both great brands. LISTEN to them and to others in the same class (Focal, MB Quart, Dynaudio, Rainbow to name a few) and buy the ones you LIKE the sound of the most.
