When a mono amp has two sets of outputs, for example my xtant a3001 has two sets of outputs, but is mono. It puts out 300watts rms @ 2 ohms. If i were to put a speaker on both outputs would they both receive 300 or 150 watts?

If the amp is seeing 4 ohms from each speaker then each will get 150 watts. I think.

300 RMS x 1 @ 2 ohms.

150 RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms.
75 RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms.

I have a Xtant 3001a also. It has 2 outputs so you can hook up 2 4ohm subs to the amp rather than wiring the 2 bubs together then to the amp. Both outputs originate from the same point and if you ohm out the outputs, you will see they are 0 ohms side to side.
