Hi everyone, I've been reading the boards here for a little over a year, but I finally decided to jump in.  Awesome site BTW.

My question is this:  I'll be receiving a CDA-9833 in a few days, along with the AI-net to RCA adapter to add an aux audio source.  I have a Nokia Handsfree kit installed in my vehicle, and I want the audio to play through my HU.  Will the Alpine HU switch sources automatically if it detects a signal coming through the aux input?  I don't want to have to manually change the HU source everytime I want to use my phone.  I already have a cable fabbed to adapt the HFK mini plug to an RCA, so that's taken care of.  I just need to know if the HU will switch sources by itself.

The head unit will not switch by itself, sorry.  But welcome to the forum!  :-)

Ok, thanks for tha help!  In wish Nokia made more than one carkit for one phone that would interface with this HU  posted_image
