I have an question. I have 2 svc infinity reference 1030w's with 250rms@4 and 1000max. what would you recommend to squeeze the most bass out of these. I previously had an orion cs100.2 bridged powering them, but it has been laid to rest. any suggestions on a proper amp.

I have the same speakers and I hhave them on a 1000 watt kenwood and they bump pretty hard.  I've been reading about ohms and such and I might try to wire them in parallel and see if it makes a difference. Check this page out, it's real technical information and should REALLY help you out.

This is a pretty good amp: https://www.cardomain.com/item/MTX421D. Wire your subs in parallel like said ^^^ and it will give each sub 210 watts continuous about.

but, when i wire my subs in parallel, the show a 2 ohm load, so this amp would be sending 420rms, not 210. i just saw this one, https://www.cardomain.com/item/CLAAPA2001. this clarion would give me 230rms@2ohm x 1. is it not true that 2 4ohm subs in parallel shows a 2 ohm load.

sorry, my subs are not 250rms@4 ohm, they are 4ohm subs, that handle 250 rms. so if i put them in parallel as a 2ohm load, would that clarion amp be suitable

No that Clarion amp would only give each sub 115 watts continuous each. This isn't bad (you would only gain about 3 db if you doubled the power), but the MTX amp I gave a link to above, is alot better and costs less also.

When you wire two subs, that have the same impedance, togethor (in series or parallel) the amp divides the power between the two subs. So if you used the MTX above and wired the subs in parallel the amp would see a 2 ohm load, so each sub would recieve 210 watts continuous (RMS).

so, even though the subs are in parallel i still need to look at rms@2ohm x 2 rating. so it would have to say 500rms@2ohm x 1, or 250rms@2ohm x 2 in order to achieve 250w per sub?

so, for my 2 subs, would all of these ratings equal 250rms per sub? 500rms@2ohm x 1, 250rms@2ohm x 2, and 250@4ohm x 1

Yeah, Just look for amps that have around the same RMS as your subs RMS power handling combined. So like 2 250 watt subs you would need an amp that outputs around 400 to 500 watts continuous.

If you have two svc 4 ohms subs then they are only going to be wired as follows.

parallel wired = 2 ohm - this is the best bet for you

series wired = 8 ohm

stereo wired = 4 ohm

Find an amp that is rated at 500w rms X 1 @ 2 ohms or 250w rms x 2 @ 4 ohms (much harder to find).

No the ratings that you have shown are not all the same.
