I'm trying to find a good spot to run a 4 gauge wire to my battery without going through the fire wall. It looks like I would have to take off my dash in order to get to the firewall and have a decent spot to go through otherwise I'm digging behind the shock tower. Is that the only way to go? Either take off the dash or run in behind the shock tower?

Save yourself some time and headaches

Look right next to your brake pedal on the left, thats where a clutch pedal would be if you had a manual tranny
now look at the firewall right in that area it should have a clear spot where you can drill right thur it into the engine bay
but double check on the engine side first to make sure you have clearance, if you do drill away and put in a nice grommet and then feed your wire thru it and you all done

This is a lot easier then taking of the dash

Good Luck
