Can anyone tell me how to determine if the newer GM radios will play MP3 files. Worked on an 05 GMC the other day and it would not play an MP3 disk..Any ideas?????

Uh... Did it say MP3 on the front of it? Most radios don't play mp3.

rtfm...thats "read the freakin manual" this is the easiest way to determine if the factory setup you have or you are working on will play mp3's...they even give you pictures of different buttons and placement on the radios so you can tell wich option you have...this makes it easier for people like myself who don't like to rtfm...man i miss picture books

some of the new Saturn radios as well as the Daewoo spinoffs ( Epica, Aveo, etc) will play MP3's... these models have the MP3 logo clearly marked on the face of the Radio.......

if it doesnt have the MP3 logo on the front, it doesnt play mp3's.....
