Have no AM reception period,why ?

Hi,even thou i don't listen much to AM radio (or atall..) my Nakamichi HU just wont pull any station in,the FM is strong but where it's my AM gone to,any ideas ?

Dan, rule of thumb regarding AM/FM reception...if you get FM and no AM, typically it's an antenna problem. If you get AM and no FM, typically it's a radio problem. Try plugging in a known good antenna and if you get AM reception repair or replace your antenna as necessary.
