i dunno if i have posted this topic before, but if i have i'll ask this again, but in more detail.

right now in my car i have 3.5"s in my dash and 6x9"s in the rear deck. they're also running off deck power............for now. i plan on getting a 4ch. amp for them. and what i was also wanting to do was maybe getting 5 1/4" or 6 1/2" for the kickpanels and then making kickpods for them.

now in that situation, how would i wire all the speakers up to the amp? or can i just hook up the 3.5"s to deck power, then run my 5 1/4 or 6 1/2"s for fronts on the amp and then run my 6x9"s for the rears?

you can do that or depending on the amp youn can join the dash and kickpanels together in 2 channels and the rear in the other 2 channels

I would run all from the amp or atleast the front 4 from the amp and the rear off the deck if you really want to run the speaker from the deck. You siting in the front seat will appreciate the power  rather than the back seat.

Here's my opinion.  If you care about SQ rather than SPL, take the 3.25" drivers out of the dash, forget about them.  Buy the best 6.5" components you can afford for the front kickpanels.  If you do a quality kick install with quality speakers the 3.25" speakers can only harm the sound.
