I took my kenwood 715 out of my 2004 ram to install in my 2005. I can not get sound out of the speakers. Now in the 04 i just used the blue wire to power the factory amp but the 05 doesn't have anything on the factory side. I had the ignition on pluged in my factory radio tha my kenwood and the sound worked. the only wire not used is the factory WHITE/ purple wire

Do you have the Infinity system, if so you will have to by-pass the amp, to get any sound. The amp is turned on by the digital bus, you pull the radio you lose the amp. SoundGate is coming out with an interface to retain steering wheel controls and turn the amp back on. Last i heard it will be released in 1-2 months.
