I want to install an aftermarket alpine deck into my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, but it has the premium Bose system with a factory amp.  I want to bypass the amp if possible, or find the right wire for the remote turn on for the factory amp.  I prefer to not cut any wires, but i can splice them into the harnesses if need be.  My last resort is running new wire to all speakers.  Is there an adapter that makes this plug-and-play?  There are no diagrams on this site that I can find.

Thanks

you can get an adapter from Metra that will allow you to P&P... but your HU MUST have front & rear preouts for this adapter to work....
