Should i use WinISD pro to design my vented box for 2 15"M3's? Ive heard it wasnt accurate but im not really sure. Im trying to make a box tuned at around 30hz and have slot ports in the middle of both subs. Thankyou

Here is a great, intelligent debate on the issue.

I believe port volume is not included in enclosure volume.

volume should just the intermal volume of the box - the space that the pot takes up (a little easier if you use a slot port IMO)

I am slot porting the box. There is a barrier between both subs and then there are slot ports on each side of the barrier. I dont get what u were saying the last post. I should not include the port volume?

Also on winisd pro there is an "end correction" number under the topic of vents. Can anyone explain that?
