Does it matter if the ground size is bigger than your power size. My Power Gauge is 2awg and currently have 1 amp grounded with 2awg. I plan on getting another amp for some subs(ID's). With a Van gogh Soundstream amp 800.2. I was thinking off getting some 0awg from chassis to dist. block then 2awg to both amps. would this be a good ground. The chassis is ground to bare metal on a seat belt bolt.

the ground setup you describe should work fine. the larger the wire you have the more juice you can move with less resistance. never use a smaller ground than your power wire. that ends up choking the power flow. as for the point of ground you should make your own ground. use a ring terminal on the ground, clear the area af paint and wipe with acetone (be careful acetone will disolve plastic) use a star washer under terminal and screw into place with a self tapping screw.
