Installed my 1 amp, 2 front speakers, and 1 sub.

Front right was burning w/ smoke coming out... took it out, got my volt meter, and the negative lead read over 25Vdc!

My speaker is now ruined, everything else reading off the amp is at like 0.01-0.02Vdc. What is going on!!???! HELP!

disconnected front rca's and speaker leads off amp. The negative right speaker lead off the amp is still at 27Vdc w/ NO RCA INPUT... WTF?! I have no idea what's going on. All the other speaker work including the sub when connected.

Sounds like your using PYLE audio, fine selection in my opinion :) ... Either that or JL lol

i'm using a phoenix gold amp... any suggestions. I'm reading 12v across the ground and power at the amp also.

would i still be able to use the other channels... safely? Only that one negative terminal is putting out 27Vdc. The other channels seem to be working fine.
