I have a 1992 honda accord.... does anyone have a link or guide that shows you how to exactly install the speakers for the front and the back? I bought two pairs of 6 1/2's speakers 650 watts each speaker.... can anyone help me out please? because if I take it to the audio center for installation they charge ALOT. I would appreciate it if you can help me. Thank You.

I imagine you just pull the door panel off up front, unscrew the old speakers and replace them. In the rear, is there a big cover over the 2 speakers? If so, if you just pull that off, it should expose the face of the speakers, and you'll be able to unscrew/replace them from there.

ok kool thanks dude... the only problem in encountering right now is the removal of the door panel on the 92 honda accord.... i can remove about half of it but the other half wont come off and i dont want to force it out because i dont want to damage anything in the door... it has a power window..

for the back it seems pretty simple except i have trouble trying to remove the screws from the inside of the trunk... i will try to remove the cover from the inside in the back and see what i can do...

I also checked that the speakers wires of my car are attached to a socket or plug of some sort and my newer speakers dont have this socket thing so that the plug can be applied.any help would be appreciated.. once again thanks alot!

On the door panel, did you check for any screws or wires that you'll have to remove/unhook to be able to take it all the way off?

Buy a Haynes manual at an auto parts store for every car you own and you'll be set.

Go to www.installdr.com and see if your car is listed.  And stop smokin weed before you kill yourself.

I finally got to uninstall my door panels, and the back speaker covers...

its seems that the speaker measurements i looked up on a manual were wrong, the manual said that my 92 honda accord's speaker measurements are 6 1/2's front and back, it turned out that the front speakers are 4"s and the back ones are 6x9's. I will return the two pairs of 6 1/2's i bought this weekend and exchange one pair for a pair of 4's and the other pair for a pair of 6x9's, i know i might have to pay a lil bit more for the 6x9's, I have no trouble looking to the 6x9's but i want to know what are some good 4"s speakers.... if so do you look more on the watts? or the brand? or both? I heard circuit city doesnt charge for installation upon purchase of a stereo or speakers... i will get a pretty good stereo soon... and to be safe id rather have them proffesionals install the speakers and the stereo too because I dont have that much experience in car audio electronics, i need to find out how to install a stereo and amplifiers and subwoofers. Any help would be appreciated and thanks to all you guys that have been helping me! Later.

I thought those were the real speaker measurements, and was going to say something about it in my first post, but I checked Crutchfield, and it also said it's just 2 paris of 6.5's. Weird.

as far as i know i think circuit city charges to install speakers. last time i went there they wanted to charge my friend like 50 bucks to instal two 6 1/2 in his car.

as far as speaker measurements, it's always weird when it comes to checking speaker sizes on the internet. in my 97 accord crutchfield's website, as well as circuit city's and best buy's websites all say that my car has 6 1/2 speakers all the way around. when i looked at them though the rears are 6 x9 and one guy at a local install shop even went as far as to say that only 5 1/4 would fit up front. my best advice would be to look at the speaker and if you can take it with you wherever you go to look at speakers

Free install on cd players 99 bucks and above (you still gotta buy parts) - then 35 bucks per pair of speakers from Circuit City.

easiest way to tell the speaker size in the rear is inside the trunk, just look up
