I'm about to replace my entire Mach460 system (1999 Cobra) with an Alpine system all around posted_image. The stock setup is no longer going to be used.

new system will have:
Alpine CDA-9851
Alpine v12 MRV-F345 500w
Alpine Type R 5x7's all around
Rockford Fosgate Cables
XM Radio

(sub and mono amp to be added later)

Installing speakers/amp and running the wire under my carpet is cake for me, and I want to install the Alpine CDA-9851 deck myself, but when it comes to the different wires and harnesses I'm confused posted_image. I need some help with the wiring to the new stereo. Which harness is used? Which wire to/not to tap?

If anyone has any wiring diagrams or How-to's for my system, or any beneficial tips for the install I'd reallyreally appreciate it! thanks!      posted_image     posted_image     posted_image

If you're replacing everything and running wires to all speakers, then all you need from the harness is power, accessory, and ground.  Rewiring the speakers may be simpler since the mids/highs are on a seperate amp then the lows.
