I'm just getting my Sony MDXCA680X hooked up in my 72 Buick and I keep blowing the 'memory' (yellow) line fuse. I have the install manual, but it doesn't say ho many amps that fuse should be. Anybody know off hand, or what they usually are? Thanks!

I would think a 10 amp. What are you using? Is the fuse blowing at a moderate to high level, or does it blow as soon as you put it in, when the unit is on, what?

It's a 1 amp. The harness that was in it had the yellow (memory) line with a 1amp fuse. The sonly didn't say what it should be so I'm kind of at a loss at this point. Needless to say, tech 72 didn't have anything but a single power line going to its AM radio... Guess I could look at my new car's service manual to see what it's fused at there.

That's gotta be it. Look in your manual, but it probably calls for a 10 amp.
