I'm going to be running a single 15" tempest  at around 350 watts rms, i'm wanting to run a sealed inclosure as i listen to alot of stuff, mostly bouncing between speed/thrash metal and rap so i want to have a tight bottom end, my question is what would be an optimal sized box for the tempest keep in mind i have a cavalier, my plans are to build a wedged box that will fit against my seat back and put a nice fiberglassed front on it, so anyone with some good box numbers for a single 15" tempest would be great, thanks in advance

J~

I _highly_ urge you to look at  Adire's excellent application notes they have for the Tempest.  Actually, nevermind.  It looks like they took them down.

Do you have an old Tempest?  Or are you waiting for a new one?

If old, e-mail them and see if they'll send you the old application sheets.

If new, I'm sure the dealers will have new applications sheets whenever the new Tempest line comes out.

Thanks DYohn that was exactly what i was looking for, i'm sort of waiting for the new line to come out, seeing as the place i was going to order them from doesnt currently have any, kinda twisting my arm on that one. does anybody know if adire has any plans for a dvc 4 ohm version of the tempest? i'd love to be able to wire it to 2 ohms but if i recall right, seeing as i just skimmed over that pdf its a dual 8 ohm sub right?

J~
