Subject: bypass parking brake wire?

I recently bought a Dual XDV8125 cd/tv tuner.  The unit itself says that the tv  cannot be used while the vehicle is in motion.  I'm installing the unit myself and ive done stereos before but never with video.  The unit says to connect a wire from the harness to the vehicles parking brake (-).  I was wondering if there is any way to bypass the parkin brake so that i dont have to have it on to watch tv.  The tv on it is mainly only for the tv tuner to control my headrest monitor, but it says it cannot be used unless the vehicles parking brake is on.  If there is no way to bypass it then where do i find the actual parkin brake (-) wire.  I havent really done any lookin yet but i dont wanna tear everything apart.  Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Bypassing the parking brake interlock is illegal in all 50 states.  I do not recomend it.  To find the wire in your vehicle will require that you get the wiring diagram for the specific vehicle.

I just posted a topic on finding the parkin brake (-) wire.  I was told to look in the vehicle information area.  But the information on where to find it isnt in there, also i was told that bypassing the parking brake is illegal.  But then whats the point of having rear headrest monitors if u can only use them when ur stopped and have the parkin brake on??  The monitors are not in the view of the driver.
