hi,

im looking for a head unit for my new car and am considering the AR7500 from JVC, im assuming the only difference between it and the shx750 is color right?

my main question if anyone has used this unit is how does the folder navigation work for MP3's? Ive looked at JVC's AVX1 unit with built in 3inch LCD and the navigation was horrible imo. Im wondering if they have it right with this unit or? does the display acutally show several folders at once or just one and you scroll around?

any other comments on this unit? im looking for an installer in Los Angeles who might carry this model.

im open to other head units too, this one just seemed the coolest so far.

I can't comment on that unit but I have the KD-SHX700, the model before the 750. I love it. I never was a big JVC fan, mainly Alpine, but I got this radio and it's bad a$$.the biggest pain is using the PICT software to put your pictures on the screen. I've had the radio for about 4 months and still can't get the pictures right. could just be me. probablly is. anyway, I would recommend the JVC. if it is anything like my radio you'll love it.

Thanks for the info outtaluck, any idea why the AR models cost so much more then the SH? is it just black vs. silver?

KD-AR7500 improvements over the KD-SHX750 :

-2 year warranty instead of 1

-comes with 8MB SD card AND a USB Memory Card Reader/Writer to upload pictures & MP3/WMA

-and of course, better looking - posted_image
