I bought my RF 800.2 recently  but it doesn't come with the remote punch bass control, Does anyone know how to make one that can fit my  amp? The remote plug is a normal telephone plug, I got a 10K volume controler but I'm not sure which cable goes where. Thanks in advance

you cant make one unless your good with resistors cause it take a trial and error with resistors to figure it out , cause if you give it two much power the amp will keep cutting off. and may damage the product.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

You would be better off buying it from Rockford.  They offer a Coupler that includes the Remote Bass unit that you need.  RF part number RFC3215.  If you contact Rockford, they can get you just the Remote Bass unit as well.

Even if they don't carry them, most RF dealers will order anything you need straight from Rockford
