Should I hook it up 2 ohms or 4 ohms to this amp? Would it over power the two 10" that i have if I hooked it up 2 ohms? Would it be better SQ @ 4 ohms?
4 ohms. You have absolutely nothing to gain running at 2.

Nice catch sedate. I was carelessly paying attention only to his question and the power numbers, not his actual subwoofer wiring options. Stick around this forum - we could use knowledgable & sharp folks that can point out mistakes like that. :-)

Yep, wire each in series seperately, then parallel together for a 4 ohm load on the amp. The amp will put out the 800 that the subs will take.

alright i see what your saying, What i meant was should i run the subs @ 1 ohm, i was too hung up on speakers. Yea I'll probably run them at 4 thanks for the advice btw Perfect dvc10's
I love it right now with only 200 watts rms running through 1. Cant wait to hook up the other and with the mono block
