Some one please give me some good news, as of lately my rockford 800aii amp has been shutting down when i turn it up. I checked the fuses and one of them, my amp requires two 8ga inputs, was looking like it was going to melt. so i replaced the fuse and it's still doing it. any ideas

If it was pulling THAT much current, there may have been damage done. My suggestion is have your authorized Rockford-Fosbreak dealer look at it...

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
