I am looking for 5 channel amp suggestions for my 2003 Toyota Tundra.  I am running two pairs of 6.75's and a JL audio stealth box in the center console with a single 10" driver.  I have to mount the amp under the seat and space is limited.  I could go 16.75" wide by 15" front to back.  Is there any particular class of amplifier I should look for?  I am looking for quality of sound more than high SPL.

Another option might be two amps - a four channel and a mono...would this give me better results?

Whoa I was about the question why you haven't checked out the JL 500/5 but then i saw your space requirements...

My sense of things tells me that I don't think you are going to find any 5-channel amp that is that small. To be honest, thats a pretty small 4-channel amp.

If you can mount your sub amp against your box maybe? What about an amp under each seat? A 250/1 and a 300/4 would be excellent matches to those speakers..

I have personally installed this amp in a couple of vehicles and would recommend it if you can find one.

MTX Thuner 895 5-Channel Amplifier

It measures 15.6" x 9.75" x 2.1" with its mounting feet.

If you want the MTX Thunder895, you'd better get it quick - they have been discontinued with no replacement model in the new lineup.

I would head to the hand built Audison amp for a real good amplifier. In particular the LRX5.600

I had very good luck with my Kicker 5-channel amp.  Mine was an older one, so I don't know the newer model number but I know they are making new ones and are very solid. Space would be real tight though. I just know its a solid way to go and one of the more powerful sub channel outputs out there. You can probably get a good price off ebay or somethin too. check um out.

I just listened to an Arc 4150 xxk with some rainbow speakers and a image dynamics 8" in a porsche, sounded good.

16.5" x 8" x 2", pretty small
