I have a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I am trying to install a center channel 1/2 din set up and i am trying to find a company that sells a intall kit that will let me have my din sized radio and the 1/2 din set up... i am go custome but i am looking for the easy way out, if anyone has seen one or might know where i should start looking please let me know... Metra does not have anything that works (at least nothing in the catalog)

if you build it, they will come. try useing a dremmel on a metra kit. what are you gonna add with the radio, an EQ?

Yea that is what i thought i was going to have to do... i am putting a CLARION SRK5 1/2 DIN CENTER CHANNEL i hate the brand but they are the only ones out there that i have found that make anything like this... ok well if anyone else has seen something let me know, it will be about 2 months before i ever get around to installing everything.

You might look at the SCOSCHE kit, P/N FC1235B - or the AMERICAL INTERNATIONAL (AI) kit P/N CFI-K509.

Both are universal kits w/half-DIN locations above the radio opening.
