I have a Pioneer DEHP7300 single CD player deck that has a Yellow-Black cell phone mute wire. The manual seems to indicate that his wire is to be connected to an older car installed Cell phone so that when the phone is in use it mutes deck. Pioneer makes a cell sensing module (CD-CM1)  that detects a cell phone in use and then sends a signal to a deck to mute it.  Is any familiar with CD-CM1?

is it compatible with my deck? I have only been able to find a picture of one on Ebay. I can barely see the connections but it almost looks like it has a blue wire that would be connected to the Amp turn on lead and then I am now speculating, but maybe a ground and then a third wire that would connect the Yellow-Black wire to mute the deck. Anyone worked with this unite before?

That is the Ebay auction with this unit.

Thanks

To what I can see it is compatible with your unit if your unit has the mute input.

This will Make a nice tracer to find Boomerang device too!!!

Yes as long as your Pioneer unit has the yellow/black wire the CD CM1 will work with it. The only problem with the CDCM1 is that it only works with Analog phones, most phone these days are digital signals, not analog.
