I got 750 ft of 8 gauge from a friend. Would it be ok to start with 0 gauge, fuse it, split it up at a distribution block and send maybe 8 lines back of 8 gauge instead of buying lots of 0 gauge? I have all this wire to throw around so I wanna use it.

I supose you can, but its gonna look like an octopus is running thorugh your vehicle. But in the end the power transfered should be equivelent.
