Just kinda a quick question. Im new to all this car stereo stuff and i was wondering if it is beneficial to run an amp to power the 4 door speakers in my extended cab pickup? My HU is a Pioneer DHP-4700MP and i am running 4X6 MA audio full range in the rear and 6.5" MA Audio full range in the front door. Would an amp make a noticable difference for full range speakers? or would I be better to save my money and put a couple of small subs and amps under the back seat? Thanks

It is ALWAYS beneficial to amplify any aftermarket speakers. Look for a 4-channel amplifier whose rating is about the same as the RMS power rating of the speakers.

Regardless of whether you use a separate amplifier or not, you should use a high pass crossover (passive or active) on the those speakers. Speakers that size shouldn't be run full range. Limiting the bass they put out will clean up the rest of the music they play and greatly increase power handling.
