I have a guy that wants 6 12in Kicker Free Airs installed in his old Cutlis and he want to keep the rear speakers in the deck I was thinking of mounting the subs with the cones faceing the rear of the trunk and venting through the rear deak but, I don't know if this is a good idea seeing he wants 6 12s.  Any suggestions?

Thanks

6 12 inch subs facing back and ported back would sound just as loud if not louder, and deffinatlly cleaner.   Lookinto building a box where subs and ports all fire upwards towards trunk lid,   you will need to tighten it down alot and sound deaden it alot but it will pound

Well now the guy just told me he ordered 4 CompVR D2ohm subs not the free air.  So, I should port it and face it up?

Thanks man.

I was think of a U shape type box with some angles to leave some type of trunk and port the top of the box and have all facing the rear of the car.
