Hi. I went this weekend to buy an Eclipse PA5532 but something concerned me.

My headunit (Alpine) has front, rear and subwoofer RCAs. (three sets of preouts)

The AMP only has two RCA inputs?

How does this work?

Steven

Thats because the amp isint 6 channels. What are you going to use the amp to run. BTW this is completly normal, ot a concern at all.

I have this exact amp in my car on an Alpine radio with 3 pre-outs. There is a mono sub input on the amp directly under the output rca. You will need an rca Y-adapter 2 female to 1 male. You will have complete sub control from your deck. Hope this helps.

MB Quart Components with the Add A Woofer system
so 2 ohm load on each front channel.

Set of MB Quart COaxials for rear fill

DVC Eclipse sub ( 4 x 4)

I am looking at a picture of both ends of the AMP and I do not see a mono input...

I understand whatyou mean by not being a six channel.

Front L + R = 2 channels
Rear L + R = 2 channels
One "sub" = 1 channel

I will stop by today and look at it again to make sure of the inputs.
