I have a panasonic 8400U and when I have the cd player on the volume will decrease and it will just shut down. And when I just have the radio on it will cut out after about 7 minutes. Has anyone experienced this problem before?

sounds like there is no other explanation besides a defective deck, unless there is an issue with the vehicle dropping to like 10.5 volts while driving, but I think you would notice that. I think I would take it to get benched at a local repair shop.

I ran a new power and ignition wire but I haven't had a chance to test it out yet.

that really sounds like a problem with the player, panasonics usually don't f**k up like that tho, everyone i've seen just goes strait out, but they are usually pretty decent players
