1/0 gauge connectors will fit. If you can't find 2 gauge connectors, just use 1/0 gauge.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Personally, I have had better luck using a SMALLER connector than the wire gauge. It will fit more snugly to start with, and requires less smashing of the connector, or less solder, should you decide to go that way. Most connectors are really too big for the wire they SAY they are for. Since #4 connectors are pretty easy to locate, try one before you spend all of that cash on connectors for a #2 cable... I bet you'll be plesantly surprised...

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

What type of connectors are you exactly looking for? Here are some 2g ring terminals.

In any event, I have also used 1/0 guage terminals of 2g before.

I second that haemphyst. I just recently had that same problem and I used 4 gauge connectors. I just opened them up a tad with a screwdriver, put the 2 gauge wire in, and crimped them with the vise. Then I soldered them. It made a very tight connection and was neat.
