I'm in the market for some new 6.5" comps and I'm highly considering Boston's new Pro60 set. I had the pleasure of listening to these comps at a local shop and I was indeed impressed but I can only form a partial opinion since the board never sounds like the inside of the vehicle.
Anyone listened to these and can offer some opinions?

I'm also looking at replacing my EDdesigns e12a sub for one of the new Boston G512" subs. Anyone have any experience with this sub?

Thanks for any opinions.

I've spend the last few weeks shopping for new comps as well and the BostonPro's were in the running for my final pick.

I actually ended up going with something a right bit less expensive but if my FREAKIN girlfriend hadn't found out ("YOU'RE SPENDING $400 ON SPEAKERS?!?!") I would've either purchased CDT Audio HD series comps or.. your choice, the BostonPro's.

If you dig the metal tweeter thing, (the biggest reason I was leaning CDT) you prolly won't find a much better speaker around.
While I've not heard these in a car either, I have put in more than a few Boston speakers in my day and have never been anything less than *quite* pleased. A set of their low-end coaxial series "NX" - I think - sounded as clean and detailed as my JL VR series comp set.. Boston is great stuff.
