how can i remove the cd player from my 92 accord is there a special screw in the back??

if i remember correctly, there is a long screw on the bottom that is holding the stereo in place.

you have to get under the dash and unscrew the screw which holds the head uint itself.

there are indeed 2 screws into the bottom of the HU, you have to pull out the center console, the trim ring around the shifter, the ash tay, etc, until you can get to the bottom of the HU, you will find two screws that need to be removed.

there are two 8mm screws holding the HU in place.  you can access them from the side of center console without removing anything.    A flexible extension will make this easy.
