I installed an audiobahn 1 farad capacitor in my car i need to know why the digital display doesnt turn off when i shut my car off. Will this be a problem? do i need a relay? would anyone know how much the display on the capacitor draws from the battery?

I have had two different capacitors in my car and both of them the display always stayed on.  it is normal for the display to stay on. there are some caps that do turn off but some of then dont. the capacitor i have right now has three reallybright leds and it stays on all the time.

With the capacitor lights always on, all the time, how long does it take before your battery is dead?

Current draw should not be a concern.  It's probably no more than a couple hundered milliamps.

It is not a problem for the display to be on all the time.

i can leave my car without turning it on for about two two weeks straight and still have enough to start my car.  Oh i forgot to mention that i aslo have two scaners for my alarm and you know that they stayon all the time. the scaners have about 5 leds and it still isnt enough to drain my battery.

You think that i will be a problem but you will get used to it just like me.
