After a cap is charged what should the oltage read when it is disconnected to the battery?

when it is connected it should read between 10-14. disconnected it should discharge to zero.

A charged cap should read battery voltage.

So after yoiu charge it and it is not connected to anything it should read like what 12 or so volts?
