hello, a friend of mine just bought a VW jetta and she says it's got the cd changer in the trunk and just the controls for the changer up front, she would like to put her kenwood cd player in her car, i havn't seen the dash yet but would the cd player go in like a normal VW job with a cd or tape unit up front or is there going to be special parts needed?

should slide in DIN....you won't be using the factory changer any more though....bummer!

Youll need a harnes adapter and an antenna adapter to do it correctly...

Lets back up....what year....?
