Hey guys, right now I have a set of Focal Utopia 165w3's passively crossed in my civic. I have them running of a JL 300/2 currently; but to go active that won't work. Currently I am undecided on an amp for them... I would like to stick with JL as the rest of my amps are JL, but it's not absolute.

cause it's only a 4 ch amp. and that alone won't work... need a 6 ch amp to go active with 3 way speakers (1 pair) regards, The Saint ------------- Pioneer DEH P960MP

Sh*T sorry, didn't read the Speaker model fully. Why not just add a 300/4, then you would have 6 channels. ------------- Alpine CDA-9833 HU

that might be the option I end up having to go with, but I would have liked to have the speakers running off a single amp... but ti's not looking like I will find a good 6 ch amp, or at least without spending a lot of money... I know we carry a couple nice Boston six channel amps, but I'm sure they're pretty pricey.

I was looking into Boston, but at the price I can get a JL Slash 300/4 Amplifier wholesale, the addition of another amp to the audio chain doesn't seem like tat big of a deal, considering what it would cost for a single 6 Ch amp to runf the 3 way network up front. regards, The Saint ------------- Pioneer DEH P960MP

What options have you found concerning 6c amps? I would be interested in looking into some of these and seeing how pricey they are. I might be looking to get one fairly soon.
