Does anyone know of a deck that has a digital coax out. I mean I am looking for something that is still avalible. The Boss has an outboard Nak D/A converter that he wants to be able to use but it only has a digital Coax input on it.

I know this isnt the way you probably ant to go but may help you get started on a search. I know alot of the under the set style DVD players have them. maybe some of the decks might?

Thats what I was thinking too, but I cant find anything thats in dash and decent, The other that needs to be kept in mind is this is purly an sq based system. I was thinking their might be a nak deck thats got it being that this is a nak D/A converter. Obviously they must have made them at some point in time, I just dont know if they still do.

I thought that the Nak CD700 II came with an outboard D/A converter.

Most in dash motorized screens/dvd players have a toslink output. You could always convert it to a digital coaxial output. The higher end companys like Mcintosh probobly have a digital output on their decks also.

I can't find a manual for the Eclipse or the Alpine but they have at least one digital output on them. If it's coaxial then you will have to use something like this. https://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat%5fid=504&sku=40019 You have to power it though. You could probobly rig something up in the car to step the 12 volt power down to 6 volt power it needs.
