OK I am going to add a second battery and cap when I install my new system.
I found a 200amp isolator but I am a little confused on how exactly to hook them up.
Here is a quick Diagram can someone please edit it and fill in what i missed?????
Sorry I dont know how to resize.
Also If i need 0awg for my stereo must I run 0awg to all of it or just off the battery to the fused dist.????
Also does the fuse go after or before the cap like in diagram??Also will the isolator at the bottem work?????
Thanks Jay

Description
Handles up to 16.5 volts without a problem. Also handles 200 amps continuous and 300 amp surges. Switching may be setup to operate manually or automatically. A must for multi-battery systems, allows for longer battery life and control over which battery is being used.

First you need to move the fuse at the back battery to between the battery and the front isolator. It still should be within 18" of that rear battery though. Bitchin isolator, they are all made by one company and rebadged for differing brands. You will be running 0 gauge for all grounds from battery to chassis, alternator to chassis and for all power wires where possible. So the alternator to primary battery, battery to battery (through isolator and fuses), battery to distro block. If you have some monster sub amp that takes a 0 gauge, then run it there as well.
