hey i just hoooked up my 4 12in memphis power reference subs to a jbl600.1 at 600 watts. I am still waiting on my jbl1200.1 which i am goin to have wired to put out 1200 watts. The subs are rated at 250 watts so with the 600 watts it was severely underpowered. How much louder should i expect it to be when i push them by the 1200 watt amp?

Doubling amplifier power or speaker surface area generally increases overall system SPL by 3db (all else remaining the same.)
