Does anyone know of a way to hook up 2 dual 4 Ohm subs to give a 2 ohm load?

You have to make both subs the same, so no, there is no way.  Only if you were using just one voice coil on each sub, but that would defeat the purpose of having two subs in the first place.  You'll have a total 4 ohm, or 1 ohm with those subs.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

the easiest thing to do is use a stereo amp, wire each sub to 2 ohms and run one sub to each channel, that always works well for me..

Stevdart is right, if you are using a mono amp there is not way to wire these subs to creat a 2 ohm load. If a 2 ohm load is what you desire then either return or sell the subs that you have and buy a set of 2 ohm DVC subs.
