My buddy just have me his
Kenwood KAC-7251 800W

He said he was listening to music then all the sudden the amp died... He baught a new amp (more money than he knows what to do with) and his subs still work fine with it.... The power is going into the ampo but isn't coming out... Is there anyway to test it, or to know if it's dead, or is there a way i can fix it... Any imput would be appreciated.

that amp gets hot as hell, if it wasnt in an open space and didnt get enoughventilation it probably is cooked. ask your friend if it is still under warranty. its not an amp that is worth fixing

I had the smaller brother of that amp the 7201 and bullman96 is right that line amps get really hot, and will shut down without notice
If its under warranty just send it back, but if its not I found that it fragments quite nicely when being shot at with a .50 Cal providing at least 3 minutes of pure entertainment bliss
