With a Qts of .37 my bet is that it wants a vented enclosure.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I think I remember reading somewhere that you should shoot for a Qts of 0.5+ for IB.  That said, ported door enclosures are probably hard as hell to build.  :-)  My advice.  If you already have the driver or it is much cheaper than traditional car audio products, give it a swing.  What's the worst that will happen? - You decide you don't like it and sell it on e-bay for a little less than you paid?

Hey, you could always buy just one, install it into a giant piece a thin plywood (infinite baffle-like) and see how it sounds.  You'll surprisingly approximate the sound in your car door.  This way you'll see if you like it IB and save yourself the real cost (your installation time).

Let us know how it goes.

it is listed under peerless' car audio drivers. i talked to a tech at solen.ca today and he said that it should work fine i/b.(he recommended it over their six inch anyway)my doors are super dead and almost sealed right off,i have a 18db/octave xover and a 40hz subsonic to run it with, so i'll give it a try.
