Pioneer’s Speakers

Over the weekend I removed the factory speaker in my car. Reason was one went out so I replace them all. Now it sound like **it no bass. The fronts or 150 watts rear 160 watts. Also keep in mind I don't have any amps or woofer just my Kenwood CD.

So my question is what could I do to some bass back in my car.  It my work car but I spend most of my time in it during the week. :(

Which models did you replace them with?

if it sounds like less bass than before, make sure the speakers are wired in phase with each other. check the polarity of the wires on each speaker and make sure they are the same, oterwise the low end will be canceled out.

Rear Speakers TS-G1340R 160watts

I think the speakers are to strong for my HD.

Everything is wired ok, double check even pull out the book to make sure -/+ are ok.

first fade all the way to the rear and then try to adjust your balance all the way to the left or right and see if there is more bass. if there is then just switch one speakers +and -. do the same for front. hopefully that works

Besides checking the wiring, you must be aware that aftermarket speakers need more power than the OEM speakers.  Keep upgrading...get an amplifier.  It'll make those speakers come alive.

Thanks for all your help, I will reverse the wire to see what happens. If nothing happens then I will look into an amp just to get some bass moving in my car.

When I got home I checked the wiring once again and found nothing wrong. Does the speaker wire have anything do with the performance of the speakers because I'm using the factory wire? I think it might be to small and that why the bass isn't that strong.

I bought myself a EQ just to get so bass moving.
