Hello,

I've been out of the car audio for a while now, I was playing with this in the good rockford fosgate years... I'm looking to build a good sq system for my car. I was thinking to go with PPI and boston acoustic, but look like from what I founded on internet that this should not be the way to go, either panasonic head, so i'm back to basic. Here is the deal:

Alpine CDA-9855 (I would prefer eclipse but need XM radio build in)

JL Audio 500/5

JL 12w6v2 (in a 1.25" sealed box)

JL  6.5 xr serie componant front

I think that the 250w supplied to the sub by the 500/5 might be on the lower limit. The other solution will be the have a separate 500/1 for the sub and a 300/4 for the component.... That why i was thinking PPI dcx800.5

Any idea? i'm I on the good way?

Dan

STAY AWAY FROM PPI'S DCX LINE!!!!

If the name DEI scares you any, then you'll definately not wat to get one.

What you could do is get a PPI A200.2 (Or something like that) and a A600.2

That would be sweet.
