I just wanted to ask.....I have been slowly building my system over the past few months, and I must say I have become addicted to constantly improving or adding to my system. As it stands now, I think it sounds awesome, and I haven't done half of what most on this forum have done in their vehicles. I'm hooked....I don't think anything will be "good enough". I think I am going to keep tweaking, and adding to, and increasing power, and clairty...it's just unbelievable how great the sound can get if you know what you are doing and your budget allows, and your imagination keeps growing....it's an awesome hobby!

i can relate. my first taste of good car audio came from a friend that spent over 5k on a system for a corvette he had, sence then, my system went from simple deck and speakers, to deck speakers, amp, to deck different speakers, different amp, to deck speakers, amp 2nd amp 2 10 inch subs, and right now it is deck, speakers, amp, and 1800w rms and 2 12s 2.5 farad cap.... the list goes on and on...

i am hopelessly adicted, its like sex... except hopefully you spend more on your system and less on the girls ;)

sorry to hear you spent money on that cap, I am sure that money could have done well in a nice resturant with a girl you were after.......just a good laugh, don't take it personal.

All I can say is it never stops.    I have been through about 2 dozen complete sound systems since I have joined this fourm back in 2000/2001   Granted I now own a Shop and expenses are a bit smaller now, but I still like to ty out equipment for the sake of tring it, and for the sake of tinkering.      It was the tinkering that got me into this whole mess.   It is a addiction and it gts expensive.   Before you know it you will be upgrading your GF/wifes car, mom/dad's car. And close personal friends just for the fun of it.

Getting your car stolen is the true test. If your still down to put sounds into your car after it's been stolen then your addicted.
