Can someone help me find the thiele small parameters for a

Diamond Audio cm312d4 .

I've searched google to no avail.

Also, can you recommend an amp for this sub? Preferably under $200 if possible

As far as the amp is concerned, look for something in the 300 to 400 watt range. Being as I am a fan of the Eclipse stuff, their 4212 amp oughta do the job quite nicely... It'll land right at 400 watts, bridged into one 4 ohm load. This amp will be slightly above your 200 dollar price tag, but it shouldn't exceed it by much.

About that amp recommendation. I know that it's in the power range I need, but for that ammount of money wouldn't it be better(long term thinking) to just get a Hifonics Brutus?

Also, what size enclosure would you recommend?

I plugged it into WinISD and I'm thinking ported ~4.5ft^3 tuned around 25Hz would give me a relatively flat response curve.

4.5 cubes, huh? Big, but if it plugs in right, and you can spare the space, go for it... I wish I had a better answer for you. Actually, let me see what JBL sez. I'll post the results later.

JBL speakershop sez 3.0ft with a 4.66x23.5 vent - this tunes to 24Hz, with an F3 of 21. Rediculous in the car, but an optimal enclosure... If you want a screenshot, PM me with your e-mail address, and I'll send it to you. It's too big to display here.

Slight thread hijack here, but I also need a box recommendation for a CM310D4 (TM310D4 actually if there is any difference aside from the mounting depth) if anyone can run something on WinISD for the best response curve. Need it to be able to fit in a single cab truck, so under like 1 cubic foot per side for sure and sealed.

That pdf I linked to has that info also. The enclosures you will get in WinISD or JBL will be way to big, I'd just use the recommended box volume from Diamond.

.5 to 1.0 sealed tunes to 58Hz to 52Hz, and .75 vented with a 3X13 vent tunes to 41Hz with an F3 of 42Hz. You won't do better than thaose numbers. Yes you COULD get better or wider response, but you box'll be HUGE, just like the 12 did...

Rec volume from Diamond I believe is .5 to 1.0 sealed. I have them in .57 sealed truck boxes atm and was wondering if it was worth the time and money to go up to about .8 or so and adding ports to either a .8 setup or my current .5 boxes. I am fully satisfied with the way the subs sound now, just trying to get a bit more volume out of them. Also should I stuff the boxes with polyfill?
